Front Parlor Garnet Sterling Silver Ring
This flower sterling silver ring, inspired by decorations above the Front Parlor room fireplace on the first floor of the George Washington’s home, features garnets. Garnets were Martha Washington’s stone of choice for jewelry.
Ring also features chrome diopside, which is a rare translucent variety of the gemstone-quality calcium magnesium silicate. This variety is chromium-rich causing the beautiful green coloration.
