Mount Vernon guarantees that our products are of the highest quality and we want you to be proud to own them or give them as gifts.  If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange it.  We accept returns and exchanges for mail and online orders within 90 days of receipt of merchandise.  Items must be unused, in the original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase or receipt, and the Return/Exchange Form below.

Order Confirmation:
When you place an order, you will receive an email shortly after your payment is processed online.  If you do not receive an email confirmation, please call Customer Service.  

Order Status or Cancellations:
To check the status of your order or to cancel an order, please call Customer Service.  

Damaged Shipments:
If you receive a damaged item, please immediately contact Customer Service.

Please do not discard damaged merchandise, or the original shipping materials.
The Shops will handle the return for you.  UPS may need to inspect the damaged merchandise in its original shipping box.  You will not be charged return shipping or any additional shipping charges for damaged shipments.  

Incorrect Shipments:
If you receive an incorrect item, or if an item is missing from your order, please contact Customer Service.  We will correct your order.  You will not be charged for return shipping or additional shipping charges for incorrect shipments.   

Returning a Gift:
If you received a gift that you wish to return for a refund, it may only be credited to the original purchaser’s credit card.  We will gladly exchange items received as gifts, or provide Shops store credit to you.  As with all returns and exchanges, these must be done within 90 days of purchase.  Items must be unused and in the original packaging.  

Please note:  Shipping and Handling charges on gifts are non-refundable.  Gift Wrap charges, special orders and personalized items are non-refundable.    

Back Ordered Items:
Occasionally, an item ordered online may be placed on back order.  We will contact you with the approximate date of shipment of your order.  You may cancel your purchase at any time by contacting Customer Service.
