This extraordinary Tobacco Leaf Coffeepot is a reproduction of one of the most highly prized 18th-century dinnerware patterns. Originally crafted in China, likely for export to the Portuguese and Brazilian markets, this design was cherished for its elegance and intricate beauty. George and Martha Washington owned pieces of this pattern, and examples can be found in the Mount Vernon collection.

The design features a phoenix bird delicately perched on the vibrant leaves of the Nicotiana (Tobacco) plant, adorned with twenty-seven rich colors and finished with 22k gold accents. The pattern is based on an original piece displayed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, embodying the historical charm and craftsmanship of the time.
