Cobalt Wine Rinser
This historic cobalt blue wine rinser is a reproduction of those used at Mount Vernon. Wine rinsers were often seen at the table for an elaborate 18th century meal when a different wine would have been served at each course. The wine glass would be rinsed between servings using a graceful container like this one.
“GW’ is etched on the bottom of the wine rinser. Made exclusively for the Shops at Mount Vernon by Blenko Glass, West Virginia stained glass makers since the 19th century. Wine rinser is approximately 5” in diameter and 4” deep.
