Martha Washington Hammered Copper Watering Can
The Washington's had a keen interest in gardening and delighted in nurturing rare and exotic plants which were sent to them from all over the world. The gardeners at Mount Vernon were held in high regard and were afforded the best tools and resources such as French copper "watering pots".
This large reproduction watering can is made of pure copper which will age beautifully and develop a rich verdigris patina over time when exposed to the weather.
