Historic Wood Pen
These finely crafted pens are created by master woodturner Doug Dill of Lanexa, Virginia, using wood sourced exclusively from historic trees that grew at George Washington’s Mount Vernon.
Every pen is one-of-a-kind, hand-numbered beneath the gold-plated barrel, and presented in a gift box with a matching card that lists the pen’s unique serial number and tree source. A numbered certificate of authenticity, signed by the Regent of the Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association, accompanies each piece.
Details:
- Dimensions: Approx. 5 ¾" long
- Origin: Handmade in the USA
- Note: Variations in color, grain, and natural knots make each pen unique
- Uses standard Cross® pen refills (widely available at office supply stores)
This pen is more than a writing instrument—it’s a meaningful keepsake that preserves the legacy of Mount Vernon for generations to come.
