This dazzling crimson griffin ornament makes for an eye-catching adornment on your Christmas tree or striking as a napkin ring on your dinner table.

The Washington family coat-of-arms is surmounted by a "flying griffin", a mythological creature that was featured on the family crest for generations. George Washington placed the griffin, a winged lion's body with a bird's head, on many of his most important possessions, including his bookplate, silver plate, and presidential coach. 

This red griffin ornament is adorned with multi-colored crystals and gold colored embroidery accents. "GW GRIFFIN" is stamped on the back. The ornament, with gold hanging thread, is approximately 4 1/2" x 4".
