Rollerball Pen Gun Metal
Crafted from wood once used in the production of George Washington’s whiskey, this limited-edition writing instrument connects you to an important chapter of early American industry. The wood originates from George Washington’s Distillery, a faithfully reconstructed site built in 2007 on the footprint of Washington’s original 1797 distillery.
At its peak, the historic distillery produced more than 11,000 gallons of rye whiskey in a single year, making Washington the nation’s largest distiller at the time. Today, Mount Vernon continues this tradition with unaged and aged rye whiskey crafted from the original mash bill using authentic 18th-century methods.
This distinctive writing instrument offers a tangible connection to Mount Vernon’s rich history and Washington’s entrepreneurial legacy—perfect for collectors, history enthusiasts, and everyday writers alike.
