Description
This collection of sterling silver earrings, inspired by decorations located above the Front Parlor room fireplace on the first floor of the George Washington’s home, features garnets. Garnets were Martha Washington’s stone of choice for jewelry.
These pieces also feature chrome diopside, which is a rare translucent variety of the gemstone-quality calcium magnesium silicate. This variety is chromium-rich causing the beautiful green coloration. Wear this set on its own or pair either with the Parlor Garnet Sterling Silver Ring or Sterling Silver and Garnet Ring.
