Washington Crossing the Delaware Notecards
“Washington Crossing the Delaware” is an engraving by Paul Girardet, after the painting by Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze, 1853, depicting George Washington leading the Continental Army across the Delaware River on December 25, 1776 for a surprise attack on the enemy troops at Trenton. The original engraving is part of the Willard-Budd Collection at Mount Vernon.
The cards have been die-cut around the edges of the photographic image of the painting.
