State of Georgia $2.00 Banknote
Issued by the Bank of the Empire State, this $2 note displays a portrait of George Washington in the top left corner. At one time it was legal for any bank, company or individual to issue his own money which was only as good as the reputation of the issuer. This practice was outlawed when the U.S. government first started to regularly issue its own paper money during the Civil War.
This is original currency, not a reproduction; approximately 18 cm L x 8 cm W.
Antique money and estate jewelry are NON-RETURNABLE.
