This 7" sterling silver charm bracelet features a distinctive fully finished two-sided Mount Vernon charm. This finely detailed sterling silver charm features a likeness of the mansion in an oval frame. One side illustrates the riverside of the mansion, or East Front, and the other side features the West front. At the age of 22, George Washington acquired Mount Vernon, his ancestral estate on the banks of the Potomac River in Virginia. In 1735, his father Augustine Washington built the original house, which was later remodeled by George Washington's half-brother, Lawrence. Beginning in 1757 and over the next 30 years, Washington significantly enlarged and expanded the Mansion to its present size. Today, this meticulously restored historic home is preserved as a national shrine. The sterling silver link bracelet with lobster claw closure is 7" long. The sterling silver oval Mount Vernon Mansion charm is approximately ¾" by ½" tall. Elegantly presented in a black gift box.
