Nelly Wooden Doll
Nelly is named after Martha Washington’s granddaughter, Eleanor (Nelly) Parke Custis. Nellie was 10 years old when the Washingtons became the first family.
Nelly’s dress and mob cap were appropriate clothing in the 18th century. A 4 ½” tall toy lamb is included with the 12” tall wooden doll.
Handcrafted in Westport, Massachusetts by the Silhouette Doll Company and signed and dated by the artist, Mary Michaud.
This doll is designed as a collector’s item, not as a toy.
