Mount Vernon Oval Garden Suncatcher

SKU: 15632

George Washington's well-ordered gardens provided food for the Mansion's table and were also pleasing to the eye. Eighteenth-century visitors to Mount Vernon were delighted by bountiful offerings of fresh vegetables and fruits, and reveled in after-dinner walks amongst all manner of opulent flowering plants.
This colorful oval suncatcher depicts Washington's garden with pink and yellow blooms and Mount Vernon's red-roofed Garden House, or School House. The glass is smooth on one side and textured on the other for a stained glass look.
A metal frame with top loop holds the 4 ¾" x 3 ½" suncatcher. Red ribbon for hanging is included.
