Mount Vernon East Front Measured Drawing Print

SKU 23487

At the beginning of World War II when Washington D.C. was considered a prime enemy target, one of the precautions taken was that copies of the measured drawings of the Mansion "were sent to a depository in the middle west" while the original drawings of the mansion plan were "stored in steel fireproof cases in the Archives Building which is fireproofed".
The black and white giclee print is presented in a 27" x 19 ¼" brown and antiqued gold frame with double mat.
