Mount Vernon's 2015 holiday ornament is inspired by the twelve festive Christmas trees that grace the Ford Orientation Center and the Donald W. Reynolds Museum and Education Center at Mount Vernon. Ranging in heights up to 12 feet, the trees are creatively decorated with themes relating to Mount Vernon, George Washington, and the 18th century. Look for 13-star flags, the Dove of Peace weathervane, colonial lanterns, blue canton teapots, quill pens and Aladdin, the Christmas camel.
The ornament is 3" tall and 2" wide at the base. Red ribbon for hanging is included. In a colorful gift box with an informative enclosure card describing how Christmas was celebrated at Mount Vernon in General and Lady Washington's time.
