Martha Washington Hammered Copper Watering Can
The Washingtons had a keen interest in gardening and delighted in nurturing rare and exotic plants which were sent to them from all over the world. The gardeners at Mount Vernon were held in high regard and were afforded the best tools and resources such as French copper "watering pots". This reproduction watering can is made of pure copper which will age beautifully and develop a rich verdigris patina over time when exposed to the weather.
The watering can is 16" tall, 15" wide, and 8 ¾" in diameter at the base.The sprinkle openings measuring .25".
