Rare antique map of Philadelphia by famed German engraver and map publisher Matthäus Albrecht Lotter (1741 - 1810). This piece features original color with Independence Hall/State House vignetted on the bottom as it appeared during the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

This one-of-a-kind antique map features beautiful early color of the city on the banks of the Delaware river. 

Map is archivally framed in protective mylar under 99% UV filtering glass; mattings and backings are museum grade. Frame is solid wood with a traditional black and gold finish. All materials and techniques in this frame conform to museum level framing standards of the Fine Art Trade Guild of London England.
