These finely turned bottle stoppers with smooth tops were created by Doug Dill, master wood crafter in Lanexa, Virginia. Wood for the stoppers was sourced from three different trees planted at George Washington's Mount Vernon; a pecan tree circa 1850, a swamp chestnut oak circa 1771, and a white oak circa 1783. Color, grain, and shape will vary for each unique bottle stopper.
The heavy tapered chrome stopper has a triple ring of silicone which creates a tight seal. The stopper measure approximately 5 1/4" overall.
Handmade in the USA.
