German Antique Coin
A very distinctive design for this token circa 1620 which represents a ship with a sail sitting in grass with the translated Latin inscription: Make haste slowly. On the reverse side, Hercules is represented carrying an upside-down ox. Such jetons were used for counting and calculating and were made by Wolfgang Lauffer in Nuremberg, Germany.
This is an original coin, not a reproduction; diameter is approximately 28 mm.
Antique money is NON-RETURNABLE.
