Duke of Gloucester Fu Dog Vessel
Duke of Gloucester, featuring twenty colors and 22k gold, is one of the finest manifestations of the Rococo style in fine china. The design incorporates colorful fruit and imaginary insects within a rim of green enamel and gold flecking. Dinnerware in this pattern was originally made for William Henry, Duke of Gloucester, circa 1770. This lidded vessel holds a candle in the Mediterranean Fig fragrance which has top notes of bergamot and lemon; heart notes of fig; and background notes of jasmine and musk. The 23 ounce candle made from 100% natural wax will provide approximately 80 hours of clear, smoke-free burn. When the fragrance is a memory, the vessel is a treasure. Duke of Gloucester Fu Dog Vessel is 5 ½" x 6 ½" x 8". Beautifully packaged for gift giving.
