Diplomatic Eagle Pitcher
The porcelain tableware pitcher was designed especially for the diplomatic reception rooms of the Department of State and the White House. The Diplomatic Eagle pattern may also be found in many U.S. embassies around the world.
The design was adapted from Chinese export porcelain, circa 1810, bearing one of the earliest depictions of the American eagle found in ceramic decoration.
This pitcher is 7 1/4" tall.
