1896 US Silver Certificate
The 1896 US Silver Certificate has elaborate engravings, a red seal, and dark blue serial numbers. The design on the front, history instructing youth, shows a woman with her arm around a young boy and pointing towards the Washington Monument. The document reproduced on the right hand side of the bill is the United States Constitution. Names of important Americans are printed in wreaths around the front of the bill.
The back of the certificate has superbly engraved portraits of George and Martha Washington.
This original currency, not a reproduction. It is still US legal tender!
Antique money is NON-RETURNABLE.
