The currency featured in this box is an original note for 10 Spanish milled dollars from Virginia, dated October 7, 1776.

This hard to find note was printed during the era of the American Revolution. Each note was authentically hand signed by a prominent colonist assuring the guarantee of the issue. Anyone caught counterfeiting any of these notes would be put to death. Printed on durable rag cotton paper.
