Wood for this bowl was sourced from a historic ash tree circa 1830. The Mount Vernon ash tree was leaning dangerously and was removed in 2016. This finely turned ash bowl was created by Doug Dill, master wood crafter in Lanexa, Virginia.
The round bowl is 9 ¾” in diameter and 4” deep on a base which is 4 ½”in diameter and has a smooth beveled edge.
This unique item is signed and numbered on the bottom; a small card with the number and tree source and date is included.
Your bowl is accompanied by a numbered certificate signed by the Regent of the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association. Please note that there are no discounts available for this item.
