This small four pence coin was also known as the Groat coin. Obverse side: King Charles II is portrayed on one side facing right. Lettering: CAROLVS·II· DEI·GRATIA, Charles the Second by the Grace of God.
On the reverse side: British Crown displayed above 4 interlinked C's, lettering around:
MAG·BR·FRA·ET·HIB·REX·16 83 which translates to King of Great Britain France and Ireland.
