Gristmill Pewter Camp Cup
We are proud to introduce the limited edition Gristmill Camp Cup in honor of the 250th anniversary of George Washington's Gristmill at Dogue Run Farm, near the Mount Vernon estate.
In March of 1776, George Washington purchased two dozen silver cups designed by silversmith William Hollingshead and engraved with Washington’s family crest. After that visit, he used the cups throughout the rest of his campaigns.
Our handsome Gristmill Camp Cup is a pewter reproduction with handcrafted etching of the reconstructed Gristmill with the year 2021 on one side and "George Washington's Gristmill at Dogue Run Farm" on the other.
Exclusively created for George Washington's Mount Vernon by master craftsmen at Salisbury Inc. these cups will make treasured heirlooms for generations to come.
