Mount Vernon Lily Lamp
The three-dimensional lily lamp was inspired by a set of rare and beautiful books on 18th century plant materials including hand colored engravings by Johann Weinmann. The books are known as Taalryk Register, published in the 1700's in Amsterdam, Holland. Many of the illustrated plants, like the lily, were known to General Washington.
The colored ironwork lamp is 25" tall. The double lined silk shade is 4" wide at the top, 11" wide at the bottom and 8 ½" tall.
Produced by Wildwood Lamps.
