Ribbons and Cornflower Chamberstick
The Mount Vernon Ribbons and Cornflower pattern is adapted from a French porcelain mug originally used by George and Martha Washington. The original mug, on display in the museum at Mount Vernon, was made in Paris by Christopher Potter, circa 1790-1795. Washington's keen eye for elegance and fashion attracted him to the handsomely decorated original piece.
The pattern consists of cheery bright yellow banding, intertwined ribbons and leaves, delicate blue cornflowers, and metallic gold accents.
Please note: candle not included.
Size is 4 ½” D by 1 ¾” H
