Crystal Martha Washington Gold Ring
Diamond jewelry was in short supply in mid-eighteenth century America, making Martha Washington's diamond ring an impressive display of taste and wealth. The original ring dating 1750-1775 includes a secret gold locket mounted on the back of its setting that holds a swatch of hair.
The rose-cut diamond flower ring of Mrs. Washington in our museum collection is the inspiration for this 10k gold and crystal ring. The ring includes a cluster of nine sparkling crystals.
This ring comes in sizes 5-7.
Handmade by a Virginia artisan. Made in the USA.
