Ivory Foo Dog Cufflinks
These classic ivory cufflinks feature foo dogs, used in Japanese and Chinese myth to represent scaly lions that protect the home. Traditionally, one is male and one female so that the interior and exterior of the home are protected. These cufflinks are carved ivory and each dog or lion wears a cabochon sapphire cap. The inner finial of the cufflink features a gold disc with ivory inset. Front and back are attached with an attractive yet sturdy chain. The lions are 1-1/2” and the inside disc measures 2 cm.
