Ronald Reagan Ornament
The Ronald Reagan ornament is one of the unique products of St. Nicolas, a British company which has worked with a small Christian charity in Thailand or India for 25 years helping disadvantaged rural women work in their own community by sewing decorations at home. Ronald Reagan, elected in 1980 as the 40th President of the United States, is remembered especially for his political and economic initiatives. publicly describing the Soviet Union as an "evil empire", and during his famous speech at the Brandenburg Gate, President Reagan challenged Soviet General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev to "tear down this wall!". His supply-side economic policies, dubbed "Reaganomics", advocated tax rate reduction to spur economic growth, control of the money supply to curb inflation, economic deregulation, and reduction in government spending. The president is wearing a navy blue and red tie with his brown suit. His briefcase is labelled "Reaganomics".
