Historic Ash Vase #175
This finely turned ash vase was handcrafted by Doug Dill in Lanexa, Virginia from a historic ash tree circa 1830. The Mount Vernon ash tree was leaning dangerously and was removed in 2016.
This vase is approximately 11" tall, 2 ½" in diameter at the base, 5 ½”at the top with a 1 ½” opening. The multiple stitches on the sides of this large vase add both stability and visual interest.
This unique item is signed and numbered on the bottom; a small card with the number and tree source and date is included.
Your vase is accompanied by a numbered certificate signed by the Regent of the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association. Please note that there are no discounts available for this item. Handmade in the USA.
