Theodore Roosevelt's Pig "Maude"
Theodore Roosevelt was President of the United States from 1901-1909. On January 29, 1901 he wrote to his children from Keystone Ranch telling them that they "would be much amused with the animals round the ranch. The most thoroughly independent and self-possessed of them is a large white pig which we have christened Maude. She goes everywhere at her own will; she picks up scraps from the dogs, who bay dismally at her".
This soft, cuddly, machine washable "Maude" is 6" long and 5" tall. For ages 24 months and up. The Presidential Pet hang tag notes President Theodore Roosevelt's years in office and identifies "Maude" as President Roosevelt's pig.
