Red Suffragette Ornament

The Red Suffragette ornament is a product by St. Nicolas, a British company that has worked with small Christian charities in Thailand and India for 25 years helping disadvantaged rural women work in their own homes creating hand-crafted ornaments.

The Suffragist movement advocated voting rights for women in the early 20^th century. 

This suffragette is wearing a long red dress with a black and white sign promoting "Votes for Women", and a black hat with a white plume. The ornament is approximately 6 ½" tall.
