Handmade Historic White Oak Vase #193

$800.00
SKU 28419

This raw-edged white oak vase was created by Doug Dill, a master wood crafter in Lanexa, Virginia.

Wood for the vase was sourced from a white oak that was planted at Mount Vernon circa 1783. After the tree fell, the wood was saved for very special collector pieces.

This hollow vase has an interesting shape, turned base with natural striations that create a unique look.  It stands 8” tall, 6” diameter at the widest point and 4” base.

This unique item is signed and numbered on the bottom; a small card with the number and tree source and date is included.  Your bowl is accompanied by a numbered certificate signed by the Regent of the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association. Please note that there are no discounts available for this item. Not suitable for use with water.
